Sounds solid. The auto tune effect kinda sounds out of place in this style of music, but that's just a matter of opinion. The snare seems a little bit buried in the mix. Over all it sounds real good.

Wow, damn nice voice.....
Love the guitar sound, nice and full. Very good recording, very good song...wouldn't have used Autotune though, song's good enough without it. Was expecting some screamo vocals, you usually have them in this style these days...good thing there aren't any in the song, would have spoilt it
Would like to know a bit about your set-up.....
Well done!

Cheers
Joe

Not bad. The kick and bass are mushed together in a wall of mud. Get some seperation there and this thing will thump. The snare is okay, but it lacks some crack. There's quite a few wongo snare whacks in there too. I can easily indentify that because it happens to me all the time.

Great song! I like the vocals (agree that the autotune is out of place - but I personally don't like autotuned vox so I'm biased), and the mix is really good. The bass drum seems weak, though, and the snare sounds out of place somehow. What do you use for the guitar fx?

Thanks for the good comments!! Joe..My set up is a Roland VS 1680 everything was done on that and ofcourse I have the Antares ATR-1 autotune...For guitar and bass I went direct...the 1680 has alot of good guitar effects. For the drums, I put 57's on all the toms and snare. For the kick i used a sennheiser e602 and for overheads I used 2 PG 81's. For the vocals I used a Audio Technica AT2020(Very good mic for the price) My drum kit is a DDRUM ash pocket kit.

Greg_L.. I agree with your comments about the kick and bass..definatly needs to be cleaned up a bit.

Thanks again! Cheers.

Okay, that link works for me.

Great sound man!

The whole band sounds good, but the singer is great. (being both a drummer and a singer, I appreciate both, but this guy has a really good voice. I really like the hi-hat work.)
