Be wary of the info on the 'tweakheads' site. There used to be some not only kinda misleading but actually downright wrong information on there.

If you use it for what it is --- a general guide written by a guy who's main focus isn't midi --- then it's fine.

There is a great little book called "What's M.I.D.I." It is probably in it 7th edition by now. Go to a reputable book shop and give them this code
ISBN 1 872601 13 8.
It will start you off on the right track, I do have to say that SScientist is the main man for M.I.D.I. on this forum and will always point you in the right direction.
