Drum Machine freeware ... know of any

I'm just looking for a drum machine freeware to jam along with.
Anyone know of anything that's, sort of, basic, even if it works off MIDI sounds, or even how Casio and Yamaha keyboards have built-in drum patterns with Tempo control.
Dial a pattern (Rock 1), set the tempo (144), hit Start button

I've got MIDI's, MP3 BT's, and real artist CD's or MP3's to jam along to.
But sometimes, you just wanna be creative, and dial in a beat ... then let some free-style guitar playing happen.

Any freeware suggestions or alternatives / work-arounds / discoveries etc, would be appreciated.

This http://plugins.gersic.com/ is the best freeware plugin database I've found.

They have a huge section for drums --- everything from the new 'arachnid' which is like a small version of Native Instruments 'Battery' to a fun little thang called 'easy-beatbox 01' which is basically an 808-sounds generator,.

U-he made some small ones including a TR-808 and a KR-77 clone, and those might be closer to what you're looking for since they play all by themselves.

Cool. I'll check it out.
also discovered there is a product called M-AUDIO JAM LAB, which is a USB interface, guitar FX software & 160 MB of pro drum loops. Might be worth the $75

Here's one that is basic but not bad for jamming considering its free:
