HI THIS AUCTION IS FOR PRINCTON AMP 1960'S VINTAGE. MY BROTHER SERVED SEVEN YEARS IN VIETNAM. ON ONE OF IS R+R REST AND RECOPERATIONS , WENT TO LONDON ENGLAND . PURCHASED THIS AMP FROM LOCALE MUSIC STORE. OWNER TOLD MY BROTHER THAT PAUL MACARTNY PURCHASED AND PLAYED INSTRUMENT FROM HIM .WAS TOLD THIS WAS AN AMP HE USED WHEN CHECKING OUT EQEIPMENT AT THE STORE. MY BROTHER WAS NOT A MUSIC FREAK LIKE ME AND DID'NT NEED OR EVEN CARE TO LIE ABOUT THE STORY. HE NEW YOUNGER BROTHER WAS PLAYING GUITAR AND BEING THE LOVING CARING OLDER BROTHER WOULD ALWAYS BE THINKING OF HIS FIFTEEN BROTHERS AND SISTERS, SENT ME THE AMP ALONG WITH SOME NICE SANSUE SPEAKERS AND AMP. VIETNAM ERA GOOD STUFF AS YOU OLDER PEOPLE KNOW. THE REASON FOR SELLING IS STILL PLAY GUITAR BUT MOSTLY LARGE PEVEE AMPS, AND NOT ABLE TO TAKE CARE OF THE AMP THE WAY IT DESEVES TO BE TAKEN CARE OF. WILL MAYBE DOWN THE ROAD REGRET . THANKS BRENT I'M SURE THAT YOU WILL WANT TO KNOW ACTUAL YEAR, SO JUST TELL ME HOW TO IDENTIFY YEAR AND WILL RESPOND. ONE CORNER HAS RIP IN VINAIL LITTLE OF BLACK FACE PEALED. OTHER THAN THAT NICE WORKS GREAT, GREAT PATINA !!!!! ALL KNOBS GOOD TUBES STILL ORIGINAL. JUST THINK IF STORIES TRUE COOL. DID COME FROM ENGLAND THAT I KNOW SHIPPED TO ME 1970 SCOTT NEVER CAME BACK HOME PEACE NOW

same here

no one spent 7 years

in viet nam

and afaik there were

no r&r's to europe



i got a telecaster bass

on my r&r in hong kong 1970

and friend got

a strat and a twin reverb

(all stolen shortly after

we got home)

so more likely if this stuff

is viet nam era

it's from hong kong

(if that makes any difference)

Ocnor...the fact that you either had or searched for that particular picture of a turd kinda disturbs me...but then it makes me laugh.

The ebay listing kinda reminded me of nightfire's story about the guy trying to swindle him into buying a c-24 (I think it was a C-24...i know it was big and expensive and being "sold" for a really low price).
