Charvel/Jackson ?

Couple of quick questions about this Charvel/Jackson. I installed an old di'marzio in the bridge position some time ago, and now this thing really screams. Only trouble is that the pots don't seem to have much function to them. I assume one is "supposed" to be for tone and the other for vol, but neither of them do much at all. I can't even turn the vol OFF. The switch has 4 positions. Can anyone direct me to a schematic or wiring diagram? Thanks.

This one, perhaps? If your switch only has 4 positions, I'm not sure how that changes things, though.

My mistake, danw. It does have 5 positions. Thanks for the link. I remember thoroughly checking the wiring back when I installed the di'marzzio, so I probably just need to clean the pots. It doesn't hurt to have a diagram tho. BTW, do you know if these charvel/jackson pickups are seymour-duncan's? Thanks.

The stock pickups are certainly not Seymour Duncans.

Agreed. That site just happens to have a lot of free wiring diagrams. The only difference to watch out for is the wire colors could be different coming out of your pickups. Are the pots crackly when you turn them, or do they just not do anything? I'd check the connections to the volume pot first. If the two non-ground lugs got smashed into one another, it would just take the pot out of the loop.

Yeh, that was a stupid question--seeing as how "Jackson" is written on them.
