Cond Mic cutting in and out help!!!!

My vocal mic, to be more specific Groove Tubes GT57 keeps cutting out. But only sometimes when it moves or if I hold it in a certain spot but not the same every time. Sometimes on the side or upside down or if it is bumped a bit. It's not the cable or the connection because if you wiggle it it doesn't do anything. When it cuts out it's just a lound fuzzy sound. Is this normal? I know there delicate mics, but it doesn't seem normal. Please help!

Sounds like a loose wire somewhere. If it isn't on the backside of the connector, it's probably a wire between two circuit boards or between the capsule and the board.

would it be safe to take it apart and try to fix it? Or pay to get it fixed? Or get a new one?

check cables 1st, then, only take apart what you are positive you can reassemble. Look around for loose connects or wires, if it's on the board and you are new to soldering STOP there.

ts not the cable. I can't see any loose connections on the board anywere but I can't see up into the capsal, should I take it apart further and see if I can find something or just give up. I am very scared to do this because I don't want to comepletely ruin it, cause it work sometimes now.

It sounds like something loose or a bad solder joint. If you aren't comfortable taking it apart to look, then don't do it. Find a suitable electronics repair shop to repair it. Ask about their bench fees before you agree to the work.
