Tascam 112 bad pitch control
I scored this pair of Tascam 112's in a rolling rack off of Craigslist for $45. Like, I did not need them, but for 45 bucks...........
Anyway, they are both pretty nice, although i do plan on replacing the belts on both of them. Only cosmetic issue is the missing white cap off of the pitch control knob on one.( didnt tascam ever hear of super glue??) The only flaky thing is on both of them, when I turn the pitch control on, the tape speed immediately spools up to a high speed...the pitch control knob does nothing. Its odd that they both do the same thing. Anybody familiar with this probelm? Any Suggestions? Anybody have a schematic or manual to share? |
