mixers?

I want to start a small home recording studio (that's also fairly portable). I'll be running it with a Powerbook G4. I was looking at getting a mixer to start with but I'm tight on budget. So I found these two:

Behringer XENYX 1204

Alesis MultiMix 8USB Mixer with USB and DSP

Which 1 should I get? Are they comparable? Suggestions and comments are greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!

They're both practically the same, in fact I don't really see much difference at all. For faders the Behringer has sliders, the Alesis has knobs. Looks like the Behringer has mute buttons on the channels. Otherwise same channels, same fx, same outs, same USB..
