Any Cool Edit Pro Users?
![]() MAYDAY! MAYDAY! ![]() ![]() I need help with my editing and mastering skills? First of all I want to ask is Cool Edit Pro 2.1 a good program to record vocals in? My other question is What kind of effects do I use to make the vocals sound crystal clear like its playing on a radio station?

Heck, I gotcha beat... I've got Cool Edit 1.1. It's a vintage sound, dude.
Cool Edit is a great program. Stable as all get out. Adobe mucked it up, IMHO when they converted it to Audition. As for that "Crystal clear like the radio sound"... that's kinda hard to figure out. Radio vocals don't sound alike, necessarily. I suspect what you are hearing is lots of compression, though. The compressor programs on cool edit are pretty good. Play around with them. ![]() |
