So between the two monitor's I've got a tv on a stand.

Then, the listener is on a futon which extends about 3 ft on either side...

Is this good / bad?

You should be OK if the monitors are about the same hight as your ears, and you stay in the center of the stereo field. Will you be mixing from where your desk is located in your drawing? If so, you need seperate monitors for mixing. It has to sound right from your mixing position first.
