The Martian

My brother wrote The Martian back in 1970. (yes, it was long time ago)
A few months ago, while he was trying to remember lyrics and chords playing it on his acoustic guitar
I grabbed the chance and recorded him on my cell phone.
When I came home, I recorded the song in my studio (I mean> in my bedroom).
Drums are programmed.
Guitars and the bass are DI-recorded.
Tell me what you think.

Forgive my ignorance, but what language is that? The vocals sound very rhythmic, but...

The vocals are buried a bit, as are the drums. Specifically the kick drum is almost non existant, fighting for space with the bass.

Not bad, just clean up the lower frequencies and bring up the vocals and drums by lowering the guitars down a couple dB's.

There is an expression in my country: ”He looks/behaves like he literately fell from the Mars”.
Back in 1970 everyone who played anything but classic music was treated like “he/she fell from the Mars".
I was born in 1969 and when I started my first band in 1984 I felt like nothing has changed.
I became one of the Martians myself.
Anyway, thanks for the listen and your comments. I appreciate it.

I’ll try to post lyrics translation if I find Martian/English dictionary.

Sounds pretty good.

You've got the instruments and vocals all well-balanced against each other. I like your guitar tone.

My only complaint is that the vocals sometimes sounded a little out of rhythm. It sounded kind of like you had to rush to get through a few lines, and the placement of some syllables suffered for it.

Although, I don't even know what language that was, so it might just be an ideosynchracy of the language.

But overall, nice work!
