Exclamation sony hi-md new track breaks

i have a sony hi-md walkman mz-rh910 and i am wondering if it is possible to create new track breaks within in already recorded material?

Arrow Couldn't you...

Couldn't you import the tracks as wav files to any music recording program, then slice and dice in-the-box as necessary?

i'm using the recorder in the field and am wondering if it is possible to make track breaks without downloading files to my notebook
