here's the rar file of all the tracks i chose for this project. the prize is 20$ Canadian. I'm hoping a few experienced folks will step up to judge. and I'll be a judge as well.

that ROCKS! I know, it's a good song anyway: but your mix makes it jump. I'd love to have a go at this but with the band width we have down here it'd take until Sunday next before I had it all downloaded.

rayc - I take all the compliments I can get
But here, I think the band, the tracking, and the developers of the software I used are where the credit is due.Will we get any details on the equipment and technique used for tracking? The drum micing technique is fairly evident from the names of the files, but it would be interesting (and helpful to a neophyte like me) to know more.

I made a zip file, too, but it was over 100mb bigger  - maybe I didn't get the compression setting right.

I'll help with the judging if you like. Can I remain anonymous? Sorry bad joke. yeah, I'll help, I enjoyed this song when posted in the songwriting threads and it's good to see it get some more air time. I'm impressed also at your generosity in letting folk fiddle with the piece - brave step but, as example thus far show, a fresh perspective can be very rewarding. Let me know what & when.

I downloaded the file, and loaded into Reaper. Did some intial edits to get rid of extraneous noise, and I am going to start mixing it later today. Should have something to share around suppertime tonight.
 Nice song, Nicole. I am going to have fun with this.
