This shouldn't be a problem?
I want to do some recordings of my piano, which is on the other side of the house on a different floor to my fairly stationary setup (Desktop PC, speakers, amplifier for speakers, mixer, yada yada...) I do have some nice long XLR leads though, and a friend coming over tomorrow... There wouldn't be any issues running some XLR leads, what, 20m, would there?
I can't forsee any issues, but I thought I'd check! Ta! Andrew.

There should not be any issues if they are reasonable quality balanced Mic cables.
Heck I've used Mic snakes of 100 ft so the 20m is less than that.
