pretty noob question, but i am stuck...

hey guys.

ive recently bought my first midi keyboard controller and have been doing just some basic recording w/ Ableton Live.

i also have FL Studio.

i like to make my beats in FL Studio and do my acoustic guitar + keys in Ableton.

right now i have a little song recorded in Ableton and a beat for it in FL and i can play them at the same time and it sounds good.

how do i get the beat i made in FL on the track i did in Ableton?

is there another piece of software that makes this easier or can i do it just in Ableton? if so, how?

thanks.

wouldn't you just export a mixdown of the beat in FL and import it into ableton?
