Eq's, compressor, interface?!

i have a tascam 1641 interface...i was wonder if eq's, compressors, and add ons like that..can be added on into the tascam interface that i have..and how would u chain them together?

A) I don't believe the 1641 has inserts.

B) A clean input chain is generally the best input chain. You can always add outboard later.
