Where do I start...

I'm kinda new to this and I want to know how to "Hear" a room and determine how to treat it. My room is 93.5 sq ft spare[spare???] bedroom and it pings a bit with a strong hand clap.

How did you guys figure out room treatments??? What should I listen for???
