Uber-cheap vocal booth

[Apologies if I've missed any forum ettiquete with regards to posting specifics/room dimensions etc. I'm posting this quickly at work so I'll elaborate and answer any responses when I'm back ]

I'm trying to work out a way of building the cheapest vocal recording area on a miniscule budget (under £100).

My priority is to kill room reflections, but the more soundproof I can get the booth the better. I know it's impossible with my budget to make the booth completely silent from the outside, but if I can reduce the volume by a decent amount I'll be happy.

My plan at the moment is to use a corner of the room I want the booth in. The two corner walls would be half of the booth - and I can stick mattresses/foam/rockwool or whatever is appropriate on them.
For the other half of the booth I was thinking of making two door-sized frames (wood frame & foam), hinged together. This way, I could fold the two sides together and store flat when I need the extra space.

As you've no doubt guessed, I'm clueless (although I'm reading around and informing myself) re. acoustic treatment/soundproofing and DIY. I'd be very grateful if someone could
a) tell me whether my idea has any relevance to my ambition
b) provide a couple of pointers either way

I'd say you have a good idea. Just do it and see.

Thanks. Assuming it's rockwool, would the 'A500' from customaudiodesigns.co.uk/soundproof_pl.htm do in this sort of structure? Or would I need to double it up...

Erm... Imagine the lines as a wooden frame, with the 2x4 rockwool pieces in the top three spaces of the frame.

75mm thick, and 2x4 feet. 6 panels for £35.
So with 3 panels each, I could make two walls 7ft x 4 ft.
I'm thinking make the walls as per the image, and then cover the whole thing in some sort of fabric/felt?
