sure thing

Its a TEAC tascam 22-4.
It was working fine for a few weeks after I got it. But then one day while recording I realized that the red LED was off and it had stopped recording. It will record sometimes for a few seconds or even longer but it eventually turns off(the record button). Its like it just doesn't want to record like I'm doing something wrong. I pretty new at these small reel to reels. and its a problem I can't seem to find the answer to.

thanks a lot
jason

Sounds like a circuit/resistor overheating and cutting out. Or the actual recording head.
