GFS Mean 90 Neck Bucker
Hey Gents,
Just ordered a GFS Mean 90 Bucker to turn my chinese agile tele into a frankenstein esquire from hell. problem is, i received a GFS Mean 90 Neck pickup instead. What's the difference between the two? Is it going to make a difference? I can just send it back, but if there's not really a difference I'd rather not bother. t

The Mean 90s are supposed to be p-90's (single coils) that fit into humbucker cases. I'm not aware of them making a humbucker version.

If you meant to order the bridge version and got the neck by mistake I'd say go with it. The neck has a slightly cleaner wind but it will still be much fatter than a tele pickup. Great sounding pickup!!

they call them buckers because they are in a humbucker case.
