My lucky buy:

I went to an Auction at one of the local elementary schools that they are tearing down in perperation for completion of a new one. Didn't have any interest in anything particular. Just went along with one of my cousins as something to kill a little time.

We were walking around the school, tons of people around and as we entered what was at one time the "music" room, the auctioneer walked in behind us with his gaggle of patrons and commenced to hocking everything in the room. Nothing of much interest was there but as he was walking out I noticed the Seven (7) 6 feet long by around 17 inches wide by 2 inch thick, metal framed, cloth covered fiberglass loaded absorbers mounted on the wall in the front of the room. Asked him if those were up for auction, he said "who'll give me a dollar?" My cousin raised his hand (he had the registry number) Auctioneer said "sold!" and walked out.

I'll take some pics tonight and post. I was pretty darn excited!
