Champagne 1917

Here is a collab I'm working on with my lyric writing friend...It's loosely about a WWI battle were French infantry staged a mutiny before going into battle against the Germans ..that's how he explained it to me .....
Looking for any feedback you wanna give...thanks!

Good music Queepy.
The lyrics are a little difficult to pick due to the FX on your voice - esp the answering/bvox.
Cool solo - double tracking & with such diff tones works well.
In some spots the vocal phrasing seems a little cramped - "...Life is better than this" seems like it's jammed into too small a space.
Good work, very crunchy song. I don't know if they used an all clear siren in Europe in WWI though.
I'd have mutinied too - the Fr generals wouldn't let their troops wear helmets as it wasn't manly, they insisted on them wearing their caps with red on them which made it easier for snipers to line up etc - a bit like the marines at the beginning of the Vietnam conflict.

Heard this a while back - still enjoyed it. The solos between the verses and towards the ends are really nice... This collab worked out well...

Cool song.

I agree about the lyrics being a bit hard to understand; I can figure them all out, but I need to really focus to catch some of them. The vocals have kind of a grungy/punkish tone to them; while the music and topic are more like an epic metal song. It's a cool juxtaposition. Though it's definitely not the "euro-pop" your soundclick account claims it is!

Another great rocker. Drums are right on. Love the guitars and the breaks. Sounds like a really cool Alice Cooper tune.
