First try with Alesis IO26

Here's my first try with the Alesis IO26. For the overall sound, I used Silverchair's "Tomorrow" and Pillar's "Bring Me Down" as reference tracks, not that I got too close, though. Somewhere along the line, I accidentally switched from recording in 88.2kHz/24bit to 88.2/16bit. So the vocals and one of the guitars is in 16bit. The rest is 24. I was recording at 88.2 just to see if I could do it.

what a guitar!!!

I love the guitar part. (not the solo)

but the vocals are too flat, you have a nice voice ,but give some expression to it, FEEL IT MAN!!! SCREAM, JUMP i don't know, emotions?

Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate it. That's kind of what I suspected. I'll have to work on the vocal expressions. Would you suggest changing the melody or adding harmony or just putting more expression into it?

no man, it just sounds like this is your 47th take on the vox. just take a break and maby some meth and when you come back put your newly found synthetic energy into it.

your just singing as if your embarrassed. you have an excellent voice, just USE IT! haha..

btw. guitars seem to be a tad to loud, and drums are pretty drowned out. other than that, tone is pretty decent.
