When you look at the bottom of the mix window, directly under the meter on every channel is a little circle. If the channel is part of a group there will be a letter there, if not there will just be a dash. If there is a letter you simply need to go to the bottom left corner of the mix window and un-select the group with the corresponding letter.

so when you are moving the fader of one track it's moving the faders of all the other tracks too?

Can you take a screen shot of the mix window with the group info section on the bottom left open?

playsguitars is on a distinguished road
in the very bottom left corner there is a little arrow icon like this:

<<

click on that, and it will display your tracks (seperate) and below that, your grouped tracks. click on your "guitars" track, for instance, and it will temporarily un-group your tracks so you can mix them further without affecting the group itself. click again to re-enable your group.
or, just right click on the group and remove the group, and re-do the group if all else fails, do it again.
hope that helps

select the regions, go to the menu that's called "regions" and click "ungroup".

If you've grouped regions it's really easy to see - it makes the regions across a few tracks look like 1 big block.
