Ok i need like a 6 track t0 8 track sequencer to sequence the sounds on my keyboard. Do anybody think the mc-303 will work good 4 sequencing my keyboard? or how about a korg es-1 sampler? I read some bad things about both units , but basically all i need a sequencer that loops and give me a option to mute out tracks when i want. i don't need the unit 4 anything else but it's sequencer and maybe it's effects

any help will be greatly appreciated. peace!

I don't think the MC-303 work very well for sequencing other stuff than it's internal sounds, mainly for lack of internal memory and media to save sequences on.

I'm looking for a better sequencer myself, but I haven't found anything that suits my stuff, except the MPC2000XL and the high-end Roland sequencers (which cost like $1000 or so, which is a ridicolous amount for a sequencer.)

You can't use the effects of either the MC-303 or the ES1 on external sounds...
