Naiant X - what?
So ive been doing research... a lot of research, looking for drum micing solutions. When looking for overheads, ive seen the Naiant MSH 1 come up alot as something cheap and decent. Now i go the the naiant site, and find they done have anything in the MSH line, or even mention it! After doing some digging in the FAQ section, i found that the X-Q is the replacement for the MSH 1. So? whats the scoop on the X-Q? Same mic? Just as good for the money?

They aren't the same - the designer is fluid & moves on when better techniques or ideas present themselves.
Value for money - very much so. |

I've got both the X-Qs and MSH-1s. I like the X-Qs better -- they're quieter.
