Under the Ashes - Song
Alot of talk about cassettes around here lately
![]() Here's my latest recorded on the Tascam 424 mkII. It's kind of an experimental ,science fiction song, spoken word thing that I made out of a poem I wrote about man's quest to leave this earth. It's pretty heavy handed, and I'm not entirely happy with the mix, so please, suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance for taking the time to listen, headphones recommended, as always. The song is "Under the Ashes". http://www.soundclick.com/bands/defa...?bandID=805880 |

Reminds me of Donovan's classic 'Atlantis', nice stuff! Great sound on the acoustic guitar - I will have to give this another listen when I get home and have real speakers and headphones to listen properly - I got really crappy ones here at the shop.

Thanks cjacek. It's a bit of a departure, but it's fun experimenting and trying different things.
Analog, I had never heard that song before so I looked it up. I can see the comparison, and that is a great song! Very cool. The only thing I had heard from him is the Hurdy Gurdy song, which is another great song. Thanks for checking it out. |
