using SiR in ProTools
Hi there, n00b here...
So I bought myself FXPANSION's converter and my first step was going to be upgrading the D-verb to SiR.... So I converted SiR1 VST into a RTAS and it doesn't show up in the Audiosuite drop down or the Inserts menu. What do I have to do to use SiR after converting it? What am I missing here? I also tried converting some other free Auto-Filter VST and can't see it in ProTools. I am sure there is something simple I am missing as I am completely new to this. Thanks so much for any help. |

well, first it's not going to show up in your Audio Suite menu because they are RTAS plugs now...not Audio Suite plugs.
look under stereo audio tracks too. A reverb is a stereo effect, so check under stereo plugins. I can't remember for sure where it's at, but I have SIR and it works fine for me
