Question

Hi all,

For those of you using VS series Roland products (or any other digital 8 tracks, etc) ihave a question.

what have you found to be the best way to do the final mixdown? I know you can mix down right on the roland onto two tracks and send the stero pair digitally through spdif to the computer.

is that better, or is it better to mix down on your computer? i have wavelab, acid pro, and a bunch of software.

i was wondering what you have found for getting the best results.

thanks

tony

Prefer mixing on the VS-880. Especially when mastering out of the VS-880 through a Finalizer.

Quick and dirty way of enhancing your final mix with eq and compression.

"Not a replacement for a mastering house."
