Can I control my (midi) keyboard with my my br8 so that I dont have to actually record the keyboard music thus wasting two tracks? In other words , I would record the other tracks (guitars, vocals etc..) on all 8 while listening to the keyboard music ( which is my drums and base generally). Question is though, how would it work? If the music is coming in through the line-in then I obviously cant NOT record it when I press record. Anyone knoew what im saying?
Thanx
Shana

pretty new with this too......

Bringing it in thru "line-in" you'll have to record. If, it is not a part to keep, just erase later, after you use it as the time standard. (?)Maybe.....
I find myself trying many different ideas, then I'll do an erase AND then an optimize to gain space/time.
But from what you are discribing, it would appear as if you might experience sync complications, that could be just cause it's not the way I do it though. There is more than one way to skin a cat.
