Question LE4 Woe's

Ok first off been a while since I was here.. WOW I like the look of the new
front page! very nice!!!!

I am not new to DAW's but new to cubase. I got me mixer (finaly)
and it came with LE 4. I like it thus far. except for the following..

A. don't see a chorous effect.. perhaps it is named something else.
B. after registering and following the directions to the letter, I now have two keys in the LCC.
one marked Cubase LE 4 with the word demo below the Cubase
and the other is just Cubase LE 4.
C. Can't update to the newest version cause when installing
the update when it gets to the halion (how does one say that anyhow?)
installation part it says it can't find some (actually two) file in the temp files.
then it don't want to work right after that. And yes I have the DVD that has cubase in the drive like it says to.

I went onto the main Cubase forum but I can't get help there till I am "Approved". so thought I would come here.

No I havn't read the manual. I don't read manuals.. now before you get on the soap box I DO consult the manual. now days with the PDF When I need to learn something I can do a search for it. And in IMHO you can read a 300+ page manual all the way through, but really what does one (like me anyhow) really learn from it? anyway gettting off topic a bit...

Does anyone have the knowlage, if so do you want to share it???

Thanks!

!
What do you need to be approved for? That's the place to get your help.

gotta sneakin suspicion you're going to have to wipe the two installs you apparently have and then reinstall...

sorry for not gwtting back till now ben sick..

Two installs?? now how in the world would that happine?
I only installed it once. Strait off the CD, then too the proper steps to get it perminatly activated.. also ran into another problem.. like just now.

I get my newest demo all recorded. I click on processes then select fade out.. BAM!!!!!!

"Were sorry LE4 has experianced a fatal error... ble bla.. please save to a new project and restart.."

Well i couldn't even get it to save so now all my nice little hard work is out the window as it wont open up the project... now going to have to do it allll over... I am a little bit.. P.O right now... Does the patch fix that problem?

I just made a new project. recorded noise, then tryed to do a proccess.. it did it again.... I've used Adobe's DAW but to me it seems this program has more potental..

Still waiting on that approval? That's absurd because they usually are real good for tech support.
