My mac will not recognize 3rd party plug-ins

I go to library/ application support/ logic/plug-in settings drag the plug-ins into the folder and still it doesn't recognize them? can anyone help?

That's not where the plugins go.

They need to be in: Library > Audio > Plugins > and then either "Components" for AU plugs, or "VST" for VST plugs.

au plugins

Thanks for that advice...Now.....how do you import them into garageband???Thats my biggest problem>>

If they are in the right folder Garageband should just recognize them.
