Tube Guards?

Hey everyone, I have a B-52 ST6012 amp that I really love and would like to protect my tubes. Is there some sort of tube guard for these amps or one that works on all amps?

Guard from what? Hah, it sounds like an asshole-type response, but it's an honest question. If you're playing out with the amp and you're worried about transporting it, you'd do well to get a hard-case for it. If you're more worried about mishaps during a show or the like, you could always get some chicken wire (or something more elegant) and screw it onto the back of the head.

Personally, I had a Triple Rec with like 12 tubes in it and toured the country with it for a year, playing some crazy metal shows and throwing it in the back without a case or anything, and I never had to replace a tube!

Your tubes really shouldn't be moving about by themselves. Don't move the amp when the tubes are still hot, i.e, let it cool down before lifting the amp.

Well, then damn thing is built like a tank and is just as heavy as one. I hear the tubes rattling around once in a while and it bothers me, I guess...

Are they solid in their sockets? I had an amp with built-in reverb once and whenever I transported it, it sounded like the tubes were rattling around like crazy. Turns out it was just the reverb unit!
