Help! Problem with Pro Tools, keeps creating "glitch" sounds
I've been having this issue recently and I'm kind of at a loss for how to resolve it. When I track, I get these intermittent glitch sounds recorded over my material in real time. They are printed to the tracks so I know it's more than a playback issue. Maybe something with my clock? Not sure.
I'm using am M-Audio FW1814 with PT M-Powered 7.1.1. Here's a sample of what I'm encountering; http://www.lightningmp3.com/live/file.php?id=12901 |

make sure you have disabled any features on programs that are trying to access the internet for updates and various reasons, and check your plugin programs such as trial plugins or free cracked versions, all of these can contribute to such problems.

i have a problems when I start getting high track counts or if Im using a lot of plugins...I was working on a mix yesterday that only had 14 or 16 tracks or so..but at least one plug on every track....and atleast 5 tracks had 4 plugs....I ended up having to bus some tracks and put the plugs on the aux inputs rather than the individual tracks...
