Old problem fixed, two new questions Projectmix I/O
After sorting out my latency problem I now have a new one.
I'm using Pro tools M-Powered 7 and the Projectmix I/O. When I am recording vocals or guitar I can only hear it in one ear but when I play back it comes out in both, I have tried creating new tracks with different settings (stereo/mono, ticks/samples) but I still get the same problem. It also happens when I rewire reason through it and play back the track, I still get sound only in one ear but always comes through both on playback. This is very offputting when I'm trying to record and I wondered if anyone could help me or suggest what it may be, i've looked through the manuals and everything but can't find a solution so i would appreciate some help. Also, does anyone know how to assing the rotary encoders, I'd like to set them for panning? Would really appreciate any help. Thanks. |

If this is happening when you record a mono track;
Bring up the the firewire interface for the project mix I/O, on the mixer panel, check to see if the "out" setting for the channel you are recording to is set to 1/2 or 3/4. If this is the case, make sure the pan for that channel is up the centre.
