Pro Tools M-Powered: Seperate HDD & Boot Camp (Windows XP) question

Hey guys. I'm finally getting a Macbook Pro. After months of my M-Audio hardware not working, I decided to hold off until I bought my laptop. I will finally be using PT M-Powered 7.3, but since it is not yet supported by Leopard, I'll have to use it through Boot Camp running Windows XP.

I know DigiDesign recommends you use a seperate hdd for Pro Tools and its related software, rather than having it on the same drive as your OS. Now, I'm completely new to the Mac-type OS and stuff, so that's why I'm asking. Even if I have PT installed on a seperate hdd, will I still be able to run it through Boot Camp?

The reason I'm asking the HRF is because I do not want to pay $3/minute to talk to DigiDesign about the issue. I already talked to Apple today, and they were unsure.

Thanks!
