Tascam 246 Question
I need some advice on what I am doing wrong. I just acquired a Tascam 246. I am trying to record onto one of the tracks from my cd player to lay down an accompaniment track. The problem is that even though I record the accompaniment track from the cd player onto the 246 at the proper level (on any of the four tracks) when I play it back the meter spikes constantly and does not come down. What am I doing wrong? Should I be using 5 or 6 as an aux in or what? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
