7.4 update...

I heard that for a while, Digi was allowing a free update from 7.3 to 7.4....anyone know the facts behind this???

when i lasted checked, digidesigned offered free updates within versions,

ie 7.3 to 7.3.1

however,,they did offer a reduced fee on purchase of 7.4, to existing 7.3 customers. it wasn't even that dear tbh.

check digidesign.com for software downloads to get the prices.

I think those offers happened if someone bought v7.3, close to when v7.4 came out (just before or after).

it depends on when your bought your pt rig.

if you were eligible and registered, you would have received a e-mail from them.

I purchased it used....the iLok and username and password and all was included....its not completely switched over to my account yet...but its in the works....
