One Opportunity Missed.

So, I was at work the other day and I was helping a customer when a taller black guy with chains and shit came in, with another dude. I paid more attention to the taller black dude because he was wearing EXPENSIVE shit.

Well he talked to my manager and then walked out, and I said "have a good day" and he threw the deuce and walked out.

How fucking unfortunate that it was Tech N9ne and some guy named Gravehead or something.

I didn't get to shake his hand, ask him any questions, get an autograph or anything. He's having a concert here on the 24th, I'm not going because the last one they had here 2 people got killed because they got stuck in mosh pit, knocked out, and trampled.

That was a lifetime opportunity and I blew it, because I didn't know that it was actually HIM. Until after he left, I compared beards. End of story.

I have been inspired to work more on writing again, because of this. So, I'm looking to his music for inspirational flow.

Just thought I'd share.

Oh, he came in to drop off a few hundred sample CD's. 8 tracks of his off of his new album, 2 full, the rest snippets. 8 tracks off of Prozaks new album, 2 full, and the rest snippets.

I'm rockin' it now, it's pretty sic.

well i wish i was as lucky as u as to have had the slight shot at a holla adn a photo - i fux wit tech9 too! funny, last weekend i picked up his cdsampler (that same 1) at the music store round my way! woh!

i feel u on the frustration over the missed op. . . . had it not been for some of the folk i try to keep around me . .. i would a missed my shot at meeting kool moe dee (i know he's old school) but taht maaphucka is a tru spitta . . . and the meeting was mad cool - he even gave me a cd of his unreleased shit! MASSIVE!

Shit happened with me. I met Paul Wall before he got big and thought to myself "he has potential but his shit isn't all that right now". Years later, I saw him on BET and had to do like 10 double takes.


...lol worse yet, he tried to pick up a friend of mine and she snubbed him because he was a white boy.

Meh. I'd go to the concert and all, but it's in a TINY area, and the last concert 2 people got killed.

Plus, I don't want to get a contact high, I aint into that shit! I got one at the Disturbed concert.

Last time he was here, he handed out papers to everyone to roll up.
