Roland XP-30 FX issues....

Hi everyone,

Havent been here for a while, been busy with my new keyboard but one thing that is troubling me is when i assign an effect to a sound in perform mode it keeps reverting back to the original one when i save it or play my sequence.

Is there something im not activating or need to turn off?

If you are familiar with my setup which is Roland XP-30 and cakewalk 9 and you dont understand entirely what i'm saying, message me and i will try and explain in more detail as it is really frustrating which you know leads to inspiration loss.
