Usb to Midi conversion

Hi...I posted this question on the keyboards forum, but was thinking that you gurus over here might be able to help out a little better.

I have a keyboard with only a usb connection, but I don't have the drivers for XP-64bit. Is there anyway to get a usb out to a Midi in/out?

I was thinking of flipping a Midi to usb converter, but I don't know if it works that way.

Any thoughts? Solutions? Do I need to sell my keyboard to get something with standard Midi jacks?

Thanks.

64 will run 32 bit apps, but all hardware drivers must be 64bit

Thanks.

So I guess I have 2 options:

1. Purchase a midi controller

or

2. Set up XP-32 on another drive as a dual-boot system and do all of my midi work there and transfer files.

any other options?

He is talking about XP64, that does not have 64bit drivers.
