Plugin Organization

Is there any way to put plugins in a certain folder? So like I can put all of my reverb in one all my eq in another?

Yeah.......You just drag or install the plugins to the folder you want. You can put your plugins where you like. All you need to do is make sure to tell Cubase where they are.

What i always do is go into the Cubase VST plugins folder and make my own folders that are called whatever I want them to be. Then I just drag the dll header files into those folders. This way my plug in initial list stays nice and short and tidy in whatever way I want them to. If you do it within the Cubase vstplugins folder you don't have to tell Cubase where to look to find them, it will automatically see them

dave_major is on a distinguished road
I do the same as xstatic. Or at least i did.

I just upgraded to Cubase 4, which I am extremely happy with by the way, and have found that the new Cubase VST3 plug ins-
Roomworks, multi band compresser etc.are actually all included in one big file.

Cubase VST PLUGINS or something like that.

This means i can't move them into my nice previously organised folder structure..

Anybody know if i can crack open this file?

Cheers

Dave
