Question Cubase SX 3 Pan across stereo field????

Just wondering if theres a way i can pan audio across the whole stereo field, for example the start of a drum beat be in the left speaker, then pan across to the right???? I cant seem to find a way of doing this,

Help much appreciated

Automation.

Basically, you'll see a couple of buttons on each track. "R"(read automation) and "W"(write automation).

Hit the "W" so it is lit up. Press play, and do your pan manually. Then stop. Go back to the start. Hit "W" so it's not lit up anymore, then hit "R" to light it up. When you play the tune it will play back with the automation you just did.

The help file should have more detail.

You should also be able to draw your pan automation (although not a thing I've needed to do, so not 100% sure). That way you can get a smooth, even pan movement.

Right-click on the track-name area and select 'show automation', and that should open up a pan automation track. (although not in front of my Cubase right now, so apologies for any slight errors...)
