SX "R" marker ?

Trying to get SX to record "past" the 10 min marker. For some reason it won't let me drag the "R" marker past 10 min. Appreciate any help. Thanks.

This may well not be the answer, but have you checked in 'project setup' to see what's in the 'length' box?

My Cubase SX lets me record as long as I need to regardless of the project settings and the "R" marker.

I am guessing that you can't move the marker past 10 minutes because of your project settings like mentioned above. However, this should not be something that keeps you from recording past that point unless your punch out is activated.

Yeah. I think somewhere at the bottom of the main window, there's something that tells you the maximium time you can make a project in hours. Last time I looked, it worked out to be about a week or something. I'm guessing it's related to hard drive space but I dunno.

exactly right on that one...

i'm also betting on the preferences being set at 10 mins or less...

Thanks to all. I figured it out. Clicked on Project, then Markers, then entered the desired length.
