Just Starting

I am very new to recording with a PC and need a little bit of advice to just get going. I have a Delta 1010LT sound card and would like to run from a mixer into the card. Here is my question: If I am running S/PDIF from my mixer to the sound card, do I need to run any other outs from the mixer? OR should the S/PDIF take care of running the signals from the mixer to the PC?
Thanks.
Joe

The spdif connections are 2 channel stereo. If you only want to run an already mixed 2-channel signal to your pc, then that'll work. If you want to track more than 2 channels, you'll have to come up with something else.
