is a jazzmaster a "strat" style guitar?

I'd probably say your Jazzy won't fit in there unless there's removable padding in the body area since the Jazzmaster/Jaguar are "Offset Body" styles. I think when they say "strat" style they mean any kind of strat or strat copy only.

No, I don't believe it would. Because of the offset body, Jazzmasters/Jaguars are quite a bit longer in the body than a Strat.

a jazz is only a tiny bit longer than a lp like an inch at the most ..cause i just put them back to back....so u might get lucky...they must specify somewhere that length dimension of the case?
