I have been using an Echo Mia soundcard with an older Creativelive soundcard which i used only for a midi input for my keyboard.I now have new computer. Most new computer dont have midi ports. There are no Vista drivers for my old soundcard. What would be the best and cheapest way to get my keyboard functioning eg later model creative card with midi port, or could I go USB with something that supports that and adapter cable?! Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated. Cheers

I hate to suggest this, but I use the Echo MIA MIDI which has Midi in/out on a dongle along with analog digital in/out. More importantly, Echo has fresh drivers that work with Vista 64bit. Great card for keyboards.

Very interesting point. Looks like I could pick one up for $200NZ. A pretty viable affordable option. Thanks for that. There seem plenty of fresh drivers available for Vista and my mia card has never sounded better with latest drivers.
