Reverb for Dummies question, me being the dummy.
I've always put my reverb aux tracks as stereo tracks, thinking that was standard. A friend of mine recently pointed out, that aux tracks on big consoles we're never stereo, and also, that if I we're to just put reverb on mono tracks, I could save alot of CPU. So.... do you guys aux your reverb on mono or stereo tracks ? And.... if you do put something through a mono reverb, put then you pan that something, do you still leave the reverb center ? |

It's horses for courses really. Often I have a stereo reverb on an FX track that I send stuff to. Other times, I'll use a mono reverb, and pan what I'm sending it to, say, left, and pan the reverb right. It's really down to what sound you want at the end of the day.
