cutting tracks

Just wondering im running cubase le4, a free version i got with my interface and i have two questions:
Will this run out after a certain period of time?
Also it only lets me cut tracks at the end of each bar, how can i make it so i can cut the track anywhere?
Any help is greatly appreciated

Matt

Hi
I don't think there is a time limit,but I could be wrong.

As far as recording inside a bar goes you need to turn off snap, it is in the top bar by the tools. At least that's where it is in cubase 4. Hope this helps.

This is correct. Also if you are zoomed in too far it can get a little picky about where you can cut.
