cubase Reason Rewire

could anybody help

Reason plays via cubase OK but when I switch to reason Cubase stops playing so I can't hear what I am doing in reason without closing both then putting reason on to work in there, then shut that off and reload cubase again

I have rewire installed

when I play a VST in Cubase it plays whatever instrument is on in reason

I have XP, Cubase SX3 and Reason 4...

You have to go into VST connections where you select your driver and click on "release driver in background" this way reason will not stop when you switch to it's screen.

No, you have to uncheck that option
